I used these for everything! I probably had a few thousand of them. They can be game pieces, counters, used to build arrays and equal groups, be used for fractions of a set, area and perimeter.

Fractions are tough and so I stock up on lots of different types of fraction manipulatives. These help students to understand that fractions are part of a whole and to compare fractions. I get a few sets of these for students to use in small groups.
Place Value Disks
I love to use these for place value, addition and subtraction lessons. They are easy to store!
Base 10 Blocks
These are perfect for your place value unit. I think that every math class need them!
