Description:
Do you want to make sure your students know your class procedures and review them in a fun and engaging way that will get your kids excited and moving? What better way to review your classroom procedures than with this awesome game! Your students will love practicing your classroom rules while playing this back to school procedure board game! Students will not only learn the appropriate classroom rules and procedures, but they will also learn what not to do, apply the procedures to everyday situations, and they’ll even have a chance to act them out!
How to Play:
- All players will place their board markers on the starting circle.
- One player will start the game by using the spinner.
- Whatever color the spinner lands on, the player will move their marker to the first spot with that color on it.
- The player will then pick up the procedure card that matches the color they landed on, and will read the card out loud. The bottom of the procedure card will tell you whether to move ahead or back spaces.
- Once you finished moving ahead or back, it is the next player’s turn.
Procedure Cards
There are 4 different color procedure cards. Each category has its own color. The blue cards are Great Job cards. These cards give an example of a student following a procedure correctly, then the player will get to move forward two spaces. The pink cards are Uh Oh cards. These cards give an example of a student not following a procedure correctly. The player will have to move back two spaces. The yellow cards are Application cards, they give a situation and the player will need to respond with what they should do. These cards allow the player to move forward three spaces. Last, the green cards are Act It Out cards. The player will need to act out the correct procedure, they will then move forward three spaces.
